Kids Birthday Party Ideas - Great ideas for your Birthday Parties

Here are great kid games that your kids can play at their birthday party - Part 1 of 2

Back-to-Back Pop (balloons are needed for this game)

You make teams, it maybe fun to let the birthday boy or girl chose the teams; then make pairs and have them stand back to back with a balloon between them. The goal is to be the first team to pop all the balloons, you can chose to have a winning team and give out prices or just have fun playing the game.

Here Kitty (you will need kitty ears head bands for this, or something similar)

Have the kids get in a circle, then chose or get a volunteer to be first. Then you blind fold that child and place them in the mild of the circle. Now hand out the kitty ears to a few kids, now the child in the mild needs to approach the other children in the circle one at a time and say “Here Kitty” if they chose a child with the kitty ears they will “meow” if not they need to keep going, if they caught the kitty that child goes in the center blind folded now. The last uncaught kitty gets a price.

Twenty Questions

Someone must be “it,” they need to leave the room while the other children pick an object in the room. When they have picked an object the other child may come back in. Now “it” can ask up to 20 questions, they must be yes or no questions, about the object. If they ask all 20 questions and have not guessed correctly they are still it, if they guess correctly then they get to chose who is “it” again.

Red Rover

Players need to be divided into two teams, then line them up about 25 to 50 feet apart. Now each team takes a turn in calling:

“Red Rover, Red Rover, send (name) on over”
Now this person must run from his line and try to break through the other line where the children are all holding hands. If they break through, they get to chose someone to take to there team, if they do not break through then they must stay on that team’s side. The team that has all but one player wins, or who ever has the most team members at the end your time period wins.

Simon Says

A parent or child can be the “leader.” The leader will be the speaker, “Simon says hop on one foot” “Simon says touch your noise” then you will switch it up with “Tough your toes” if someone does there are out because you did not say “Simon says.” The last player in the game is the winner.
