Some fun and easy recipes for your child’s birthday party - 1 of 2
For your child’s party you want to have some creative and fun lunch
ideas to offer everyone. Here are some great ideas that you can use.
Have fun!
Tuna Salad with a twist
You will be using cucumbers, tomatoes and bell peppers, quartering
the cucumber and bell pepper and the tomatoes in half. First clean out
the veggies to create a “bowl” or “plate” to place the tuna in. Then
place a slice of cheese inside. Then next is the tuna salad, you can
also place a celery stick in the salad if you would like.
Sherbet Frogs
Scoop a big ball of lime sherbet and place it on a green ring gummy
candy, for the feet. Then place two chocolate cookies in the top of the
ball, for the eyes. Then use decorating gel to make a mouth and a nose.
Use a green bowl or plate to place them in. These are sure to be a hit!
Shrunken Sandwiches
Use Ritz crackers, or what ever crackers you like, and place meat and
cheese in them. Ham, turkey and bologna or a mixture of them, and
command them with some cheese; swiss, cheddar, and mozzarella.
Party Parfait
You can use disposable cups or a waffle cone to place the parfaits
in. You will layer vanilla yogurt, fruit and granola. You can drizzle
chocolate over the top, and use a special spoon to serve with them.
These should be kept in the fridge until you are ready to serve them.
Chicken Kebobs
This will be very easy to prepare. Buy the frozen chicken you can buy
honey barbeque, or hot, get the one that is bone less. Cook them, and
while the cook you can prepare what ever you would like to go with them.
For veggies you can use; cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers,
something your kids like. Then for fruit you can use pineapple, apple or
grapes, again pick something your kids like. Then for skewers you can
use pretzels, thin hard bread sticks of plain skewers. Try to arrange
them in a fun way, maybe something to go along with the party theme.
