Some fun and easy recipes for your child’s birthday party - 2 of 2
Fruit Kebobs
You will need skewers, marshmallows, peanut butter and some fruit. I
recommend apples, bananas, strawberries and grapes, but you add anything
you want. These are great finger foods to offer everyone at the party.
You can make a cool arrangement too, stick the skewers into a melon that
is cut in half and place that in a decorative bowl.
Foot Ball Subs
Using dinner rolls, cut a slit in the top before you bake them. Then
prepare your meatballs, before cooking them shape them like a football,
then place them in spaghetti sauce . Pull the rolls out just before they
are done and place a meatball in each one with mozzarella cheese in the
shape of the laces and bake for a few minutes.
Pizza Mummies
Use english muffins, spread pizza sauces on them. Place sliced black
olives for the eyes then mozzarella slices for the mummy rapings, then
bake until the muffin is toasted. These will be a hit for everyone and
very easy to make.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Stars
What party would be complete without the peanut butter and jelly? You
can cut the bread into star shapes, or any other shape, or even variety
of shapes to make it fun.
Party Rolls
You can use wheat, plain and flavored tortillas so there is a variety
to choose form. You will spread cream cheese on the tortilla then the
lettuce or baby spinach, then the meat and cheese. You want to be sure
you rap these very tight so they do not come apart. Then cut them into
two inch sections so they are just the right size.
